Recipe: Asian Cabbage Salad

A great combination of Asian flavors made this salad a hit on Comfort Food night!


1 head cabbage, shredded
2 bunches green onion, chopped
1 small bag sliced almonds, toasted
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 6 oz bag Ramen noodles


3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tsp accent (optional)
2 tsp salt
6 tbsp rice vinegar
1 cup of oil

Shake together above ingredients until completely mixed. Brown almonds and sesame seeds in oven. Cut up onions, shredd cabbage. Mix in dressing. Just before serving, add noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds.

Makes 12 servings.
